Poem on the Zappos 10 Core Values
This is the poem that won me the position at Zappos as Copy Editor. On the left is the list of the 10 values, on the right is my interpretative poem.
1. You should Wow the customers every day
2. And say "Change is coming again? Hooray!"
3. Be fun and happy and a little odd;
4. Be unique and creative and we'll applaud.
5. Keep learning and stretching in all that you know.
6. Interaction with others will help friendships grow.
7. Fun camaraderie, that's what we've taught;
8. You have what you need; don't waste what you've got!
9. Have a fire in your belly! Be ambitious and zealous!
10. (But don't brag about it, we all might get jealous.)
